Two year old Beth died at home on 19th July 2008 as a result of a sudden return of her AML Leukaemia. This website will act both as a memorial to Beth and as a fundraising platform in her name.

LAURALYNN HOUSE HAS BEEN BUILT!

The Beth Prendergast Memorial Fund has been raising money to support ongoing efforts to establish the first children's hospice in Ireland and support families who have a child with Leukaemia.

Organization News

LauraLynn House, the Republic of Ireland's first hospice for children, was officially opened on the 27th September 2011. Parents of dying children can now choose to cope at home, return to hospital or visit LauraLynn House for respite care and support. We are so pleased that we have been able to support the building of the children's hospice and are happy that hundreds of families will be helped every year.
