No event is too big or too small. Many friends and family have raised funds for the building of LauraLynn
House as well as help get out the message that children's pallative care in Ireland needs improvement.
Events:
Nov 2007 - Beth's Ball was held in November 2007. The Laurel Lodge Toddler's Playgroup
put on a fantastic event to raise funds for Beth - over 2500 euros!
Nov 2008 - Book Sale at Laurel Lodge Christmas Craft Fair - A huge thanks to Marie King
for all her hard work.
Dec 2008 - Christmas Party with a Difference - Mel and Rob Moore of Sheffield, UK asked
their friends and family to bring a donation to Beth's Fund to their annual Christmas party rather than a bottle of wine.
It was a great success with over £250 brought in!
Jan 2008 - Coffee Morning - Beth and Matt Carre hosted a coffee morning in Sheffield,
UK and raised £60. Thanks to all!
Jan 2009 - Every Penny Counts - Every Child Counts - Every Day Counts - Over
the months of January and February, the children of Dangan National School in Summerhill, Meath, Ireland
raided their piggy banks and hunted under sofa cushions to bring in any spare change they could find. And find it they
did! Within the first week the collection tub burst and in total over 845 euros were raised! Thank you so much
to the children and staff. We hope to have other primary schools join in the campaign and raise the profile of LauraLynn
House as well as well needed funds.
Feb 2009 - Pancake Day - The Parents' Association of Dangan National School in Summerhill
worked very hard flipping pancakes and raising 250 euros for LauraLynn Children's Hospice. Great food, great cause!
March 2009 - Every Penny Counts - Every Child Counts - Every
Day Counts St. Patrick's School, Trim worked very hard over the
past month collecting pennies and raised a brilliant 152 euros! Thanks so much to all the children for their hard work!
