Two year old Beth died at home on 19th July 2008 as a result of a sudden return of her AML Leukaemia. This website will
act both as a memorial to Beth and as a fundraising platform in her name.
Our Goal
The Beth Prendergast Memorial Fund will raise money to support ongoing efforts to establish the first children's hospice in Ireland and support families who have a child with Leukaemia.

Organization News
Unbelievably, the Republic of Ireland does not have a children's hospice. The choice left to the parents of
dying children is to either cope at home or return to hospital. To this end, the first challenge the Beth
Prendergast Memorial Fund has set itself is to help current fundraising efforts by the Laura Lynn Foundation to build
a palliative care unit for children. Building work begun on LauraLynn Children's Hospice in September 2009.
